The Board's Regulation sections are contained in the California Code of Regulations (CCR) Title 16 of Division 18, Articles 1-10. You can download the current version of the Board's Statutes and Regulations Relating to the Practice of Marriage and Family Therapy, Educational Psychology, and Clinical Social Work. The Board's Statutes and Regulations contain sections of the California Business and Professions Code and the California Code of Regulations. The publication also contains miscellaneous code sections from the California Health and Safety Code and the California Welfare and Institutions Code.

Continuing Education Course Requirements: Effective January 1, 2002, Section 1887.3 of Article 8, Division 18 of Title 16, of the California Code of Regulations was amended to require that marriage and family therapists and licensed clinical social workers complete, as part of their mandated 36 hours of continuing education, 6 hours in the subject of law and ethics every two year renewal cycle beginning with the renewal cycle of January 1, 2004.
